Will Roblox stock do well?

On March 10, 2021, Roblox releases a stock under the ticker name of “RBLX”. I have heard news prior to the release of the stock and hesitated on whether or not it would be a good investment. I personally have never played Roblox before but I knew people who did such as my brother and my friends. My brother being 20 years old, I didn’t expect him to play Roblox. I had a negative view of the game Roblox as I thought it was a ripoff version of Minecraft and only for little kids. Eventually, I found out that it wasn’t.

It only took me going to my brother's room to get something and seeing him play a game that I thought was “unturned” but was actually Roblox. It blew my mind because I thought it was only for kids. My mom's friends of kids that are 3 and 7 play Roblox on their iPad which gave in to me thinking the way I did. Watching a few Roblox videos from youtube, I can see why Roblox is so popular among a bunch of age groups. There are a bunch of modes that bring people together and with covid, more people are playing Roblox than ever. Although Roblox users tend to be in the age of 8 to 18, more toward the younger age.

Looking at Roblox stock today when it was released, it opened at 64.5 dollars. It only has been a day and is now currently at 70.23 dollars. Roblox stock is doing pretty well at the moment but the question is if Roblox will aim for people in the higher age group and if not, will Roblox stock continue to succeed?
